Harp Lessons

Hannah’s teaching philosophy centers on ensuring that every student develops proper technique from the start or refining prelearned technique to maximize playing efficiency. She initially teaches with patience and positive reinforcement but will introduce a more structured and firm approach when consistent progress isn't being made—always prioritizing the student’s growth, especially for those with ambitious or competitive goals.

For students who are self-motivated and not pursuing a competitive path, she adapts her teaching to support a more personalized pace. She ensures that these students still make meaningful progress while enjoying the learning process. Knowing that harp is generally still considered a soloistic instrument, she also tries to connect students regardless of age and skill level together by offering opportunities when available to collaborate on arrangements usually for harp duets or trios when possible.
